Our hamster loves this cage. However, as his caregivers- we do not. The multi tiers make it so he is able to push out all his bedding(poop included) onto the floor. Not that hamsters aren’t already a mess, but it makes it much worse when they have the ability to kick their turds out in a 2’ radius around the cage. It didn’t come with very detailed assembly instructions, we had to really go off the picture on Best Buy. It’s also not the secure, if left how it was we’d be searching the house for the hamster in no time. We had to take a pliers and bed the latches to make it harder to escape. Would I buy it again, no- just for the fact of the poop all over my floor every morning. However, it had the most space for our fat hamster of any cage out there, and also lots of things to do so he’s not bored out of his mind. All depends on what you value most.
