The clasps can be bent by hand.
I gave 4 stars because I didn't know what to buy and went for the cheapest product but they didn't meet my expectations for what I need them for. What should have alarmed me was the word pinch in the description. The metal bends easily by hand and doesn't hold my pendant around my neck without fear of falling or being ripped off. They are made for costume or children's jewelry. They are all the same size and barely fit around my 5mm necklace. I'm sure there is something specific they are used for, just not what I need.
