This is a review of the 2021 Pro boxing gloves from Elite Sports. The product list includes the following: 1 pair of boxing gloves (12 oz) 1 set of bandages (black) 1 mesh drawstring bag I bought gloves for regular bag work. The recommended weight for pocket exercises is usually between 10-12 ounces and 14-6 ounces for sparring. Gloves are made of PU (polyurethane) or synthetic leather. When used, they fit snugly but cause no discomfort. Next to the palm is a mesh layer for airflow/ventilation. There's enough padding around the joint with no odd bumps or bulges. There is a simple Velcro closure system that can be adjusted accordingly. The branding (black gloves) is also understated for those who prefer a more minimalist design. I always cross my arms (bag work, pillow work and sparring). The kit includes a set of hand wraps that appear to be designed for an adult hand. The material is thin, which isn't necessarily a disadvantage as it's easier to flex between the ankles. The Velcro is similar to Fairtex hand wraps. Also included is a mesh drawstring pouch. The one I received was white and had no inside pockets. The gloves fit well in the bag, in addition to the hand wraps. You always want to air out your gear after use and the bag allows you to do just that. Overall this is a great value for anyone looking to get into boxing (Western, Muay Thai etc.).
