- Made in China I have a few minor issues but I still love this item.1. The various levers are not easy to move back and forth and are a bit narrow and cumbersome2. If you use a larger apple like Honeycrisp, the core is too small for us. We use it for small apples that we dehydrate for dog treats so the pith problem isn't an issue. I was just trying to be thorough. For our purpose, this works great. The suction cup actually works well and saves me a lot of work on the large batches we make. They need to be cleaned, otherwise the skin will become sharp. It also doesn't dig too deep and doesn't waste meat. It works well with every size potato I've tried and helps a lot too. Khabs loves mashed potatoes. I also slice them, which reduces cooking time and cooks them more evenly. For us very solid 4 stars. Don't forget to use Smile.
