I was looking for a new food processor just before it became available. Also wanted a blender but it was further down on my needs list. Then I found this villain on the Ninja website. It was immediately clear to me that I wanted to try to get both at once! The first day I had this beast I didn't have anything to test it with, so I tried plain ice cubes. Turned him into SNOW almost instantly. I tested this amazing device to prepare personalized shakes and smoothies. The swiveling part of the smoothie bowl has certainly come in handy a number of times. Blocks of cheese grind very well, just like they do in my food processor. Onions cut quickly, remember to cut them to fit the feeder. The graham crackers crumbled in no time and the cranberry sauce was easy to puree. Tried it with some (chilled) chicken and tomato puree too. It worked in every way! Fewer flaws than Heads-Up: It's noisy. I wouldn't run it in quiet hours or the neighbors would complain for sure. When it's on, there's strong wind blowing on the sides, so make sure there's nothing light on either side before turning it on. Plus, it's SUPER SPICY! Be extremely careful when using or washing. I also recommend cleaning all nooks and crannies with a brush.
