This large pressure gauge features a sturdy construction and liquid-filled case. However, I find it problematic to use. Apparently it's difficult to position it properly on the rod shaft to get a reading - the needle refuses to move even though the cartridge is properly attached to the rod. After you swirl the cartridge and get a reading, it's only partially captured. You have to squirm a little more to get full pressure. The case is not completely filled with liquid, leaving an air pocket that makes the dial difficult to read. It also expels air very slowly. Due to its size and robust construction, it is difficult to manipulate. Maybe it's broken, or maybe I just need more practice to use it. Lets me go back to my old sensor. For the money I would have expected more functionality.
