I bought this for a large dog crate that I use as a partial habitat for adopted kittens. I've tried making my own over the years but at this price point it was worth it to see how the 'official' hammock works. It's so darn cute and the wool filling is a kitten's paradise. Sturdy metal clips easily attach to the top or side of the wire hut. All 3 of my currently adopted kittens (only about 10 pounds) snuggle in it and the hammock barely bends. Bows are just enough for that weightless feel cats love. I wouldn't be surprised if the mother cat lies in it and is properly supported, but it's rarely empty. I will buy more and donate some to animal shelters.
