I couldn't even get my city radio, I replaced the head unit and added a new antenna but my iPod had better reception. The town's radio station was patchy, garbled, and just not very good. I installed this device, the piglet turned off the ignition and it worked. I catch the local station and a few more from afar. I think I still need a better antenna but this absolutely helped. It's about half the size of a deck of cards (cut along the long axis), so it fits very well behind my new head unit. So yeah, for $10 it's worth it.
