The length is great. Many are very short and depending on where the AC charging port is located, they can be difficult to reach. But. When I took it out of the box the gauge read almost 10psi while disconnected. In addition, the transparent plastic dial kept falling off. I would snap it back up just to have it bounce right back up. I tried to find a way to reset the display to 0 but couldn't find anything in the instructions. After hooking up to the van, I poured in 1.5 cans of refrigerant before realizing the gauge wasn't working properly. I have no idea what the actual line pressure is now because the gauge is now stuck at around 50 (see picture). Buy something with a more reliable gauge, not this thing. It might be even better to buy something locally so you can pick it up if it doesn't work properly.
