Doesn't fit Simply Ming pressure cooker

Bought to replace a broken pressure valve on my Ming pressure cooker. Doesn't fit and doesn't work. It appears that the steam release stem on the pressure cooker is slightly larger than the diameter of the valve. If you have a Ming pressure cooker and need a replacement, get the Cuisinart version. Yes, more money, but it's better than buying a new pressure cooker or instant pot over a small part. The Cuisinart valve worked fine but may have lower pressure, but not by much.
