After reading the reviews I decided to get a replacement screen. After the installation, which actually wasn't that bad if I was very careful, I noticed a drastic difference between our original screen and this one. The contrast is extremely high and the black tones are too strong and too dominant. Also, the saturation/brightness was too high, with a slight yellow-orange cast. Very disappointed because we wanted to replace our screen with something identical. or at least within reason. If you are looking to replace the screen and don't care about the photo quality or the color quality, then by all means buy this screen. However, if you're a photographer or Instagrammer, or want your photos to look the same as they did before the originals were destroyed, skip this replacement. I highly recommend finding a used OEM Apple elsewhere that we bought online the night we installed this replacement screen. The OEM screen looks amazing, just like the original. but it costs twice as much so it only goes upside down. You generally get what you pay for in this world. I own three businesses that are heavily image based (commercial printer, graphic design company, photography, etc.) and only leave reviews when a product needs a serious review or to help people save time and money like we did with this product to have. This is one of those moments.
