I live in the US so my opinion here is on the plug and socket styles. They may not work the same everywhere. Unlike some similar competing models, the cable management works great here. The bracket also hangs perfectly and securely on the plug/socket, as long as it is a typical vertical socket. Deco fits perfectly and securely in the bracket. There is only one exact alignment that matches, so the determination takes a minute. This is much tidier than placing it on tables or shelves and is designed for placement in specific areas, e.g. B. a hallway, essential. The ventilation for the Deco device seems to be good. The ethernet cable jacks end at the 10 o'clock position, so if you use a cable (most people won't use cable on satellite devices), it can look dirtier when it comes out. this angle compared to the lower mount or 6 o'clock position. This position also allows the bushings to collect more dust. But this orientation places the power cord in the 11 o'clock position, which is the tidiest position. You may need a different bracket for the Ethernet cable. Note that the deco will be held to the side, affecting the orientation of the internal antennas and likely affecting or distorting the intended radio wave pattern. to some degree (can be good or bad). If you want the best or maximum performance from a device, consider not side-mounting it (an inverted ceiling mount will do). On the other hand, if it allows for a more optimal spot for the Deco unit, your range and speed may benefit. As far as I can tell, my network is still operational, so maybe it doesn't matter much. And the reduced clutter may be worth a trade-off. Just something to think about. By the way, I really like the Deco M5 Mesh Router that goes with this mount.
