My 14 year old tuxedo boy has kidney stage 2 and spits out Azodil capsules like Grandma's snuff so it was useless. But the powder smells like liver and I sprinkle BFF tuna/duck bags on it and he licks it off and wants more. Now I don't have to give Pepsi AC crumbs anymore. No more bowl soaked in urine, now regular urine is easier to scoop and less filler is used. At the moment it seems like his kidney failure has stopped. No more waking up to those popping noises that indicate nausea. No more drinking water like a camel. I don't give and close to the recommended dose, I give about half a scoop twice a day.
