Edited to add: Now I feel really bad about my harsh initial review of this product. I recently had an embarrassing incident when my dog jumped onto the couch while I was holding a full glass of red wine. My couch is celery and I thought I might forget the wine. I didn't have a spray or detergent on hand and was only able to find this product, which I didn't think was very good. It was late at night so I gave it a try. I processed all the cases that contained wine and then ran them through the wash. You look perfect! With that in mind, I think this product probably works best on fresh stains. I will keep trying. This completely saved my sofa, so I felt compelled to revise my original rating from 1 star to at least 4 stars. This product did not remove either the sauce stain or the dirty stain from the cotton. For the first round I let the product sit for 5 minutes, scrubbed it with a toothbrush and rubbed it on myself, then rinsed it off and the stain was still 80-90% visible. I then thought I might have misinterpreted the meaning of "a few minutes" and gave the product a second try for 30 minutes. I followed the same steps and have a reduction of about 50 in the visibility of both spots % achieved I got much better and faster results with products like Spray, Rinse and Dissolve I wish I didn't have 2 bottles of this product .
