Unlike suction cup mounts, this one stays in place! I've used this holder for over 8,000 miles and it has worked great. It really had to be re-tightened after about 6000 miles and adjusted very often. It's two-handed but easy to use. It also kept my Garmin Nuvi secure while driving the rocky roads of Mexico. Other times I would switch off and use it to hold my iPhone. A foot on the bottom prevents the holder from sliding down, unlike the most common design which only clamps onto the air conditioner vent but provides no additional support. I was able to attach it and then position it at the right angle. Inserting the Garmin into the mount was easy. The clip holds the top of the GPS/phone securely but opens easily. The holder appears to be made of durable material. It was a great deal for under $10.
