Review on Leather Designer Crossbody Shoulder Satchel by Deborah Velarde

I love shoulder bags. I have a 6 year old and I run between her to school, work, shopping, events etc. I've just gotten used to not worrying about my bag (if I left it in the cart or left it somewhere) . And I don't really like my shoulder bag. Well, I have a lot of shoulder bags, but not a single one made of leather. I didn't want a super long strap, but I didn't want a super short one either. The downside is the long strap. But that's okay, I can live with that. Most people commented on the smell and possibly some issues with the threads. Yes, when I opened the package there was a distinct smell (of leather) was it unbearable? nope Was it noticeable - I'm sure of it. However, this is NOT a reason to send. People are so sensitive these days! To be honest, I think some people exaggerate to gain sympathy. or maybe get a credit to their account (for something like a mild smell that did NOT enter my house). Ridiculous, I tell you. some people do, but overall I LOVE this bag. It may seem small but once you have it and look inside you will see a lot of space! So many pockets and roomy. Also, the description was correct, it's leather, it was stiff and maybe the color didn't quite match, but they said it would loosen and become more pliable over time and the color would soften. The manufacturer is right! I accidentally dropped small splatters of oil on it. I wiped it off and didn't bother anymore. this spot changed to a soft skin color and became very soft. I also noticed that the sun made it smoother and softer. leather genuine leather. It will change over the years and I sincerely believe that the more I have of it the better it will get. And to be honest, since it's a real leather bag I might even take it to a local leather shop if the threads start to snap/fray, or maybe make a different cut so it's not that long. I give 10 STARS - for the price, the quality, the delivery (delivery 4 weeks earlier than planned!) and because it is skin and the changes in the skin are already visible.
