Review on miniBB by Charles Barney

I like that you can set up different sections of your site with multiple themes, including one-page style websites. It's easy to use, but not so simple as other platforms such as WordPress or Joomla! For example, it would be great if there were some kind of help section for those who are new users. There are many features available which make this platform very user friendly. Some people have said they dislike how limited the layout options are compared to more advanced software packages. You do need an understanding of HTML code in order to edit things yourself though, but once you get used to it, it works really well. We've been using miniBB since 2011. Since then we have had no major issues. The only problem we ever run into is when our hosting expires and we lose access to the website until we renew.
