This platform bed looks very nice compared to the 'traditional' pillow beds on the market. The bed is also quite easy to assemble. The downside is that the bed slides on the parquet floor when my dog climbs on the bed. THE MAIN PROBLEM is that the wooden edges of the dog bed are too sharp. My dog injured himself on one of the corners when he ran into it - surprisingly I never realized how sharp they were until this happened. Since then I've taken the bed apart and reverted to the boring (but safe) traditional kind of dog pillow. This may not be an issue for everyone, but it turned out to be an issue for me (my dog, to be exact).
