it has very poor shape memory and does not retain its original shape

If you put about 20 notes in it, then after a week you will still have 10.
Then it will not hold 10 notes together, the gap will be large and will not return to its original shape.

Pros

The clip just pops open when you insert a slightly thicker cotton ball, it feels flimsy so not worth wearing
