waste belt. I'm a commercial apprentice carpenter in Washington state, so the conditions on the tape measure I check every few months are really tough. It rains all the time and drops on the concrete, it's hard on them. I bought this tape at the same time I bought the Tajima chalk box thinking that their chalk boxes are the best you can get, their tape should be good too. Not correct! A heap of scrap broke the thing on the very first day of use. Sure I dropped it off the scissor lift but the lift was all the way down so if it would have dropped maybe 8 feet to say the least. I thought it was still good after another 4 hours of work, but then it wasn't sucked up and thrown up. Complete junk buy Fat Max or Milwaukee.
