Actually it's great for everyone! I got this because I lost track of the measurements of my "antique" glass mug and kept spilling liquid whenever I held it at eye level to check the quantity. I can stand this on the counter and never spill (or spill by tipping) - the measurements are easy to read and the grip on the handle makes it easy to use. I haven't used it in the microwave for melted butter or warm milk (yet), but it's been in the dishwasher many times! I also recommend getting 2 cups and a mini that measure tbs and ounces.
