I purchased this item on January 20, 2020. When I first installed it in my car, I couldn't get it off the key. , the inner cylinder no longer rotates, this is probably a manufacturing defect. Contacted seller since January 26th asking for advice or procedure to remove. Eventually his last idea was to put some lube on it, as that didn't work he suggested calling a locksmith. So I called locksmith to have it removed and sent the seller the following message on February 5th, 2020. "Okay, I understood, after the grease didn't work, neither the seller nor the manufacturer has a procedure to remove it. I followed the last recommendation to call a locksmith. So I did, the Locksmith did a special home service, he." I've already tried to open the cylinder didn't work, then the last possibility was to cut off one of his hooks very carefully so as not to damage the steering wheel. Finally my car is free again. I'm already preparing for this defective product to be returned to Revain. MY QUESTION TO YOU. This caused me a NEW but defective item. I don't count 10 days that I couldn't use my car.
