How to close them

I bought these boxes to use next to the back door to store leash, dishes and baby wipes. I really only needed the largest size but they came in a set of 3. Love the locking mechanism as my 17 month old can't get in like she loved to do with the previous box I had and spills the contents around the house. Deducted 1 star because I thought the boxes were a bit bigger.
