I made my first "three" quad about 10 years ago. I used what was available in the flight controller and high end RC gear market. After a few days or weeks of fine-tuning the flight. I shelved the model due to poor performance. Then I made a small quadcopter (designed in Solidworks and combined 3D printing and CNC manufacturing). Air traffic controllers available at the time were also used. It was wonderful. but it was also a handful to fly. Fast forward to this inexpensive amazing stone. It flies out of the box. That's great. Connect to your phone via Wi-Fi and you can control it with your phone or use the included controller. The Follow Me feature works well enough as long as it's not moving quickly. Landing, video and photos are all done at the touch of a button. A++ would buy again!
