Durable protection for your tabletop

This protective plastic tabletop cover is thick enough to protect the bare table wood of my dining table. It does not easily tear. It fit perfectly and I prefer the clear so that the table color shows through. I didn't want a color or pattern to appear "busy" in that area. I can still put placemats on top when serving meals to further protect, and they do not slide around. I am very pleased with this purchase. I also purchased one for the table I use outside and am very pleased with that one, too.
