Decent price for a 300W Pure Sine Inverter. At 13.1V the idle current is 390mA. Output 113V. It regularly loads up to 350 W (ohmic). Average efficiency 86%. The digital display is quite accurate. (The display alternates between input voltage, output voltage and Hz) The fan switches on regardless of the temperature at around 70 W (if the consumption fluctuates, the fan also pulsates - (annoying)). Medium-duty suitcase. It will NOT work with a medium or large sized compressor fridge. Works with cordless tool chargers (18V Milw***** and 20V Max Dewal*) - withstood (almost none) inrush current draw from the charger's switching mode power supply, hence it got 5 stars in my rating. (I've had 3kW inverters smoke and burn in this stress test.) Sorry Mark, you were unlucky yours didn't last more than 31 days. Refills still working after 4 months, fingers crossed.
