
Good camera. Plug and play, it worked right away. The field of view is quite narrow (no wide angle). I have 2 main questions: 1) There is obviously no auto focus in this price range. But the fixed focal length is too far away for me. I sit about 2 feet from the monitor and the fixed focal length is 4 feet. Therefore, my face is always blurred, but the background is not. If you sit closer to the computer, keep this in mind. 2) I could be wrong, but is there some kind of hardware beautification? Aside from being fuzzy, it actually seems to me that there's some sort of skin smoothing that I can't turn off. It's okay, but I'd happily spend more for a better camera. At $30 it's a steal. When I was 50 I had to spend 100 for a normal webcam.
