Unfortunately I can't get the silver side to accept the solder. Copper wire picks up solder easily but when I try to solder the silver side it just peels off regardless of cleaning the soldering tip, adding heat (increased heat) and using good quality 60/40 flux cored solder wire. . I have never had this problem and have soldered many small and large electronics with a good Weller soldering iron. You can't just solder the poles on.
