excellent dock. I used to have a regular USB alarm clock dock that I used to charge my new iPhone. This was a big minus for me as before the iPhone 5 I had a good docking system that worked surprisingly well. since i didn't want to spend a lot of money, i just decided to buy a cheap alarm clock with a usb connection. Big mistake. after 6 months I gave up and bought this iHome clock. light day and night. This alarm clock is just perfect. The size and brightness of the text is perfect and I can see it at any time of the day, especially when my kids are crying at 3am and I'm not wearing glasses. the dock function is perfect and my iphone just fits perfectly. The auto sync feature is my favorite as I never have to worry about my watch being off. Setting the alarm is easy enough and the sound quality is very good. But remember, this is an alarm clock, so don't expect a home theater system. it all looks great on my bedside table, which is also black.
