The disk was immediately placed in an external case and formatted to 2TB (the old OS could not split into more) In the course of work, it was sometimes not detected, but this was treated by turning it off / on. A week ago I decided to format it to 3TB, for this I bought another disk and began to overwrite data on it, but during the copying process errors began to pop up that some files could not be read. I didn't pay attention to it. but then the disk stopped being seen in the system! What I just didn’t try: I inserted another disk into this case - everything works, I tried to start all sorts of recovery systems - it’s useless. Win8 - does not see the disk at all MacOS - sees it just as media with a volume of 0B, serial number FFFFFFFFFFFF and no way to do anything with it. I wrote to their technical support - it is indicated that the guarantee expires in September 2022. Let's see what they answer - if there is a movement, I will unsubscribe. I DO NOT RECOMMEND to take the GREEN series from this manufacturer - the disks die very quickly, and that they were not even used - they lay in the closet 99% of their time. There are also disks of the Blue series (survived the laptop :)) and the My Passport series - smart and small in size, but capacious - 2TB. These are ok, and the GREEN series, even in working condition, is slow and dies quickly :( Good luck.
