I really appreciate the insulating bag that came with my purchase! I've filled my 32 ounce bottle with everything from protein shakes to hot tea and ice water and it smells like nothing! I think people who say it stinks are just not cleaning their bottles very well. The mouth is wide enough for my big, bony hands to fit in to clean and scrub the inside with a soapy sponge. It also comes with a cleaning sponge on a stick, so don't worry if your hands are even bigger than mine! You need to keep an eye on the seal and make sure it's tight because if it's not wrapped properly it will leak if it falls on its side. It's not the best way to insulate drinks and keep them warm for long periods of time, but it does work a little. . And it is quite resistant to sudden changes in temperature. I poured boiling water over the inside of the tea leaves, then put ice in it and it held up pretty well, no cracks, nothing. I have yet to toss it and test its drop resistance and plan to keep it that way but will definitely update if I do lol.
