For those who like to experiment with sizing needles for different projects, this set of circular loops has proven to be ideal. My online craft shopping experience has always resulted in me coming back again and again for the next taller/smaller needle, adding another $5-$10 to my projects. Purchasing a set like this solves this problem and I am very happy with this purchase. Before ordering I was concerned that the low price might compromise quality (ie strength of attachment point, integrity of the bamboo) but having used size 9 on a quilting project I am confident that the plastic-bamboo attachment will perform is strong enough to last quite a while. Also, the bamboo seems to be very standard for wooden needle quality and I didn't see/feel any splinters/cracks. As I mentioned above, choosing yarns for experimental projects really is a lot more fun with a 0-15 (2mm-10mm) yarn set - you don't have to worry about getting the right needle size as long as it's within that range fall. And if you're the kind of person who takes size seriously, having sizes above and below what the pattern/yarn calls for is very convenient and economical. Zippered pocket and holds needles without excess lint. It's not too big, which I like, but it's not too narrow that I couldn't throw a few hooks in if I wanted to. There is an extra small bag with stitch markers, a fabric tape measure, some yarn needles, scissors and a crochet hook. They come in their own resealable bag which is great as they won't get tangled up on your knitting needles. The band measures up to 60 inches. Conclusion: Due to the value and quality of the knitting needles, I can definitely recommend this product. The extra features are nice, but most people who knit have them anyway. If you are new to knitting, this is a great product to start with due to the low price and variety of needles.
