Bought a 64GB Sony Tough Card with Satechi Type-C Aluminum UHS-II Micro/SD Card Reader Adapter. We tested Satechi first with a SanDisk Extreme Pro UHSI 95MB/s card, everything is fine (write speed is around 85MB/s). The card came off easily. Then tested with Tough Card, write speed is around 240MB/s on my Lenovo T480 laptop. The card wasn't removed - it stayed about 2/3 in and wouldn't budge. I am afraid as these cards are very expensive. After considering options including destroying Satecha to save the Hard Card, I decided to just pull hard on the Hard Card and it came out. Inspection of the card did not reveal any plastic ridges or bulges, but I did notice that there is an extra piece of plastic on the underside of the card under the connectors. This makes the card a bit thicker than a standard SD card and that's the bug. Sony added a 45-degree taper to the front edge of that extra piece of plastic, no doubt because they realized that some card readers could get stuck. So if you run into this problem, just pull hard on the card and it will come out. After that initial problem, I carefully inserted and removed the card several times and now it works perfectly. One star minus for a fit issue and typing speed dropped 20% below advertising.
