Only use for pens, not for ballpoint pens
I bought this holder because it was meant for crayons or pens. I like the durability, it's a bit pricey (because of its pattern I think). There are others that are cheaper and just as strong (I bought 3 others with different patterns). The problem is that it is not suitable for gel pens or other colored pens. I put my grips in and after 5 grips it became too tight and there was an empty space and I couldn't close the holder after 3 sections. Very disappointing but I will use it for other pens as the outer motif is very bright and beautiful.
