I'm looking for the best inexpensive (ie less than $50) headphones and this isn't it. 10 pairs) so I know how to steam the buds and how long to long press. I'm also aware that I removed the plastic wrap covering all of the charging ports. So I know what I'm doing. That means the issues I'm having are related to the headphones themselves. Battery - One of the headphones is not working. At all. I can't load it. There is no movie. I cleaned the contacts. I tried turning it on with a long press but it doesn't work. Does not happen. That thing is really cool. You can place any bud in any slot. There are three LED dials on the top of the case that show you how much juice is in the case and in each bud. (No wonder one of the earbuds shows empty. Except sometimes it says it's fully charged. Then it's empty. Grr.) You twist the case to open it. works right now. Well, double-tapping the right earbud goes up the trail. The left earpiece doesn't work here either. A long press to change the volume or turn off the headphones doesn't work. Noise canceling - I don't think so. The instructions are good. They are quite well written and I don't need a magnifying glass on my reading glasses to read them. the other earphone didn't always work, i didn't want to check anything. Sound quality is hard to tell with just one earbud working. I don't think it's bad, but I don't think it's good either. A hissing sound can be heard in quiet places. The bass is loud, but somehow muddy. High frequencies seem quiet. TL; DR: One headphone won't charge and controlling the other doesn't always work. The case is cool, but still a star. And as much as I hate throwing away electronics, they end up in the trash. Mainly because it will be very nice to hear them hit the bottom of the can. Very satisfied.
