Greatly improved signal strength with external antenna

I bought this part to connect my Stratux to an external DME antenna (King KA-61, 960-1200MHz bandwidth) using RG312 cables ( also purchased from Revain) 2 male SMA to SMA pin and 1 male SMA to BNC pin. Signal strength has greatly improved - I see a lot more towers and TIS-B traffic than with whip antennas. A huge ground layer and an uninterrupted signal path make a big difference! If there was a protective case, I would buy it too!
