I really like these shorts. They have the fun feel and almost the look of a skirt with the convenience of shorts. They even have a phone pocket, which we all need. Before wearing I tossed them through the wash in cold water and hung to dry. I tumbled in the dryer for about 5 minutes just to get the wrinkles out. They came out feeling just as silky smooth as they were before washing. They did not shrink or lose any color. I normally wear a small to medium. These have a tie waist which allowed me to order a large so I have extra flow and comfort. The fabric is soft and silky with plenty of stretch. The shorts liner feels comfortable against my skin. I did have issues with them crawling up my thighs, but that is most likely due to the size if my thunder thighs. I put them to the test with a good zoomba workout, then again with some fun dancing, and finally a walk at the park. I felt very comfortable. I was able to move freely and most importantly I didn't get too sweaty. The side opening feels odd at first . I think it was mainly my self consciousness, but the length of the flowy outer part and the shorts under give plenty of coverage. The overall quality is nice with good stitching all around. I'm very happy with the look and feel of these shorts. It's nice to have something cute and girly but also practical.
