My pump for pumping did not work

I then removed the hand pump, it did not work at all. Luckily after removing the connector it still fits so I can now use it like a regular siphon which you fill by filling the big end with water and tipping it up (try this instead of sucking up the hose it is much cleaner! ). I wouldn't buy it again, just get a regular whistle or go all out and buy a python system.
