It cuts through my drywall with no problem. It was the right size for the dryer exhaust vent.
I needed a 4-1/4" circle cut through two pieces of drywall so I could vent hot air. This cut isn't a problem. I'm not sure how hard it is is, you can punch drywall so it doesn't take long to get the job done, but I put in two good laps, no complaints.
Pros
- โฎ The 3.75 inch hole saw has a carbon steel body (with 8% cobalt) and high speed steel teeth for flexibility and durability.
Cons
- A newer model could have been chosen
