This works well on the street, I have gaps between my teeth so I have to brush in between every now and then. I tried using it as a household irrigator while shopping for toothbrush water. flosser combo for home.and after a while the body of the water tank started to crack. Believe me, the plastic for the tank can be too fragile. So if you plan to only use it when traveling or away from home for a long period of time, this is a great device. Water pressure is fine for infrequent use but could be reduced on my part due to cracking plastic. Therefore, results may vary. I have to charge it every night but to be honest it's not a problem for me with the external batteries I keep.
