Review on 🛏️ Kaytee Aspen Bedding - 3200 Cubic Inches by Matthew Loesch

I think it depends on the season and the batch, the bag I received was dust free, felt very soft and had no errors so far. Watched my hamster very closely when I switched to this, he wasn't sneezing, coughing or scratching! He likes to burrow in it and it doesn't stick to his fur or anything. The smell is soft and pleasant, reminiscent of pencil shavings. The bag does not smell in the room we store it in (hopefully protects against bugs). The $7 bag was more than I expected. It should only be used for a short time before being "massaged", but will do for a decent buck (lonely dwarf hamster). Experiment with what your hummy likes for depth. Mine doesn't need a very deep hole (sometimes I think he's lazy), but some like 6-8 inches so he can get used to it faster than we need it. No complaints, it's soft enough to handle with bare hands, I didn't get any splinters or anything.
