I needed a camera because my new desktop didn't have one. I used my laptop for scaling, but this was cumbersome as I often have presentations and files on both computers. There are many HD webcams out there that look very similar, but since I've had experience with Faleemi (I bought an IP camera as a baby monitor two years ago), their product support has been extremely helpful. So I decided to try their webcam. Here are my comments: PRO: Installation went smoothly. You can put it on a flat surface or hook it to the screen. Plug and Play worked like clockwork and I was up and running in Zoom/Skype in less than a minute (note there is an option to allow HD in the video upscaling options, the default was a bit blurry). This is a good camera for the price. It's clearly not 4K, but I mean you get what you pay for and at this price point it's very decent quality. The sound was good too. I checked the light setting and my room is quite dark and I could see myself well at night with just the screen backlight CONS: The mount isn't the strongest I've seen (see picture). Maybe it's my screen, but I was expecting a slightly stronger grip. In any case, once in place, it stays in place and doesn't move. Also it's not a big deal but privacy is not closed. Maybe they can add a zoom lens cap to solve this little problem. I'll add an update if anything comes up.
