Bought these for my 4 year old daughter, thought she would love them but got the opposite reaction. She liked the print but complained that sand tends to accumulate in the shoe. Tried her at the pool thinking we would respond better as there is no sand in the pool then said they were heavy in the water making it difficult for her to swim. We had a good experience in a creek with lots of rocks. I wish they were a hit in all three places so they could be used more often.
