Actually bought for mom who has to get up in the middle of the night. It’s replacing a battery operated night light (batteries replaced monthly)so It’s sitting on dresser ledge (knee high) directly across, but below height of her bed. So far it’s working great as she drops her legs over the side of the bed the motion detector lights it up & more then bright enough. We haven’t fastened it as it sits comfortably on a ledge and though it’s been active for a while it’s not needed recharging so hopefully it will last 6 to 12 months but will update once she lets me know she charged it or if any issues are encountered.
