Severe overheating is good for computer accessories and peripherals
This cable was constantly overheating causing my phone and charging pad to also get hot and the battery never charged. Something in the cable lines is jacked up. Don't blast my $1,000 phone over a $2 charger. Having both adapters is a great idea, but it doesn't work properly. If you decide to use them, keep an eye on the temperature.
