Review on Osprey Transporter Loader Laptop Backpack by Julie Braaten

I have several Osprey backpacks, large and small, and I like the care Osprey puts in the development of their products. different for the Osprey product. I'm still a little unsure if I like it. Although it seems that this is a durable material. Thicker than other Osprey packs I own. The zippers are good, although I wish they had the loops that my Osprey daypack has on each zipper. The loop makes it easy to use. The backpack has a small pocket on the front and then a very large interior, making it easy to carry a lot of stuff. Inside there are small pockets for things like pens and other small items. There is a padded sleeve/pocket for a laptop. I feel comfortable because my laptop and other things I carry in my backpack are protected and stay dry. The shoulder straps of the backpack are very comfortable and adjustable. The waist belt can be removed if you don't think you will use it. One thing Osprey surprisingly didn't get right with this backpack is an external pocket for a coffee or water mug. There is only one elastic pocket with a slot, you can put a small thermos in it. In my opinion, this is a mistake for two reasons. First, the bag is too small. I can fit a regular sized thermos/mug of coffee in my bag, but not my slightly larger thermos. A much better design would have been the mesh pockets on the sides of my Osprey backpack. Small and large thermos flasks fit into the pockets. The second reason Osprey didn't get it right is that he only has one bag. I would really, really prefer two pockets, one for a coffee thermos and one for a water bottle or shake container that I use. In my opinion, this is an important usability factor. In general. This is a good laptop bag. I just wish the outside pockets were better thought out. hope this helps you
