Review on Sangean RCR 20 Bluetooth Charging Digital by Darryel Tokarczyk

At this price point, you just can't ask for more. It's less than 1/3 the cost of a Bose Wave radio and has many features Bose doesn't offer. This unit replaced my Bose Wave Radio III. Bose has virtually no treble, nothing above 7kHz. This makes NPR sound bloated and boring. Even in talk radio mode, the Bose sounded too incomprehensible for talk radio. The Sangean has clearer highs and cleaner bass through the rear ports. The Bose time indicator was less than a dime (see picture)! Try to focus on those 12 feet at 3am! The Sangean has a MUCH larger display with different dimming levels. EASY to set up, pair with Bluetooth and use as a USB charging station. The sound (especially for the money) is excellent, the volume is enough for a bedroom. So if you're thinking of spending money on Bose, don't. This device is better in every way imaginable. This is a great product! Warning - mediocre reception.
