Effective but uncomfortable
The piercing process was great and it worked. It does not hurt. The consequences are severe, as the backs of the earrings get caught and twisted, which is cumbersome to clean. I ended up accidentally ripping out the earring when trying to take it off (because it was stuck) and I had to have the ear redone. I recommend not using the back earrings that come with the kit.
