I used them to fit a set of plastic fenders to a drive axle. They have this offset that makes them easier than anything I've ever used. They look strong and light. I had to cut out some Huck bolts to install them, that's all. The offset design allowed me to use the existing holes without drilling the frame. The plastic brackets are slotted for easier drilling and fender mounting. Now the set screw will break the bracket before you think it's tight. I broke a few on mine. But I drive a lot on rough roads and the only problem I have is loose adjustment screws. You must use a thread lock or they will fall out. In my opinion, it's much better than those stainless steel U-bolt racks.
