This is a hydrogen peroxide whitening kit. As a dentist, we typically use a peroxide tooth whitener or other peroxide home kit option in the office. I'm curious how phthalimidoperoxycaproic acid (PAP) works. I haven't searched quickly and it seems like PAP is the new kid on the block and there aren't that many clinical trials. On initial searching, I found that some products outside the US may damage your teeth, while some "brand" websites advertise them as safe. I used one session, the product seems to work in terms of whitening. But I am concerned about long term use as this chemical is not considered safe to use or confirmed by clinical studies or dental agencies. I would stay away and use hydrogen peroxide as a safe way to whiten my teeth.
